If you need urgent medical assistance with acute, life-threatening illness or injury, this is the number to call. (it also covers fire and police) If you are the holder of a “sygesikringsbevis” (yellowcard) you will not be charged any fee.

1813 DOCTOR ON CALL

Usually your assigned doctor will close at 4 pm (16:00), and be closed Saturday and Sunday. From 4 pm - 8 am (16 - 8) and during weekends, this is where you call if you need help with an illness and need to speak to a doctor. It is the same number for adults and children.

This is also the number you call before you go to the ER, even if your assigned doctor is still open. If you are the holder of a “sygesikringsbevis” (yellowcard) you will not be charged any fee.
